BETHANY MEYERS

Bethany Meyers joined IALR in April 2024 as the GO Virginia Region 1 Great Opportunities in Technology and Engineering Careers (GO TEC®) Program Coordinator. In her role, she will work to build connections between schools and businesses to continue growing the program and spreading it to more communities. Previously, Meyers worked as an 8th-grade social studies teacher in NC for 25 years, and in her most recent role as a teacher in Wake County, NC, she also served as the Yearbook Coordinator and Education First Tours Coordinator for her school. Meyers received a BS in Social Sciences with Secondary Education from Appalachian State University, an MS degree in Sports Administration from Eastern Kentucky University and a M.Ed. in Social Studies Education from Campbell University.
