EVAN JONES

Evan Jones serves as the GO Virginia Region 4 Training Coordinator for the Great Opportunities in Technology and Engineering Careers (GO TEC™) program. Previously, Jones spent 4 years as the GO TEC instructor at Cumberland Middle School in GO Virginia Region 3 where he was recognized as Technology Teacher of the Year at Cumberland in 2020. Jones was Head Mentor for Cumberland’s first two Robotics programs: an FRC team (The Aftershocks) at the high school and an FTC team (The Seismic Waves) that he started at the middle school. Jones graduated from Valley City State University in North Dakota where he studied Technology Education.
