Chris Griffith serves as the GO Virginia Region 3 Training Coordinator for the Great Opportunities in Technology and Engineering Careers (GO TEC®) program based out of the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR). In this position, he is responsible for installing and maintaining equipment, implementing the GO TEC curriculum, training Region 3 teachers in the GO TEC Lab at IALR and providing continuous program support. Prior to this role, Griffith was a GO TEC Instructor and Motorsport Technology Instructor in Halifax County Public Schools. He has his teaching endorsement in Motorsports Technology and holds his Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) credentials. Griffith graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Social Work, which he used to help serve individuals in the Danville and Richmond/Tri-Cities areas for more than 15 years as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
