Alecia Stancil serves as the GO Virginia Region 5 Training Coordinator for the Great Opportunities in Technology and Engineering Careers (GO TEC™) program. In her role, she delivers consistent program support through a unique training experience for GO TEC teachers. Additionally, she provides technical assistance to ensure the effective setup and maintenance of equipment within middle school labs across her designated region. A former middle school Life Science teacher, Stancil boasts five years of experience in the education sector. She served as the 7th-grade department lead for two years. Her commitment to education is further underscored by her academic background, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in general biology from Virginia Union University.
