The website for Great Opportunities in Technology and Engineering Careers (GO TEC) earned the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research’s (IALR) Public Relations and Communications team a Gold Summit Award from the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). The award was one of four IALR received for various communications efforts.
The GO TEC website was developed and launched with oversight by IALR, who serves as the fiscal agent for the GO Virginia Region 3-supported program. The site serves as a hub for communications efforts with links from promotional merchandise, literature and social media for the GO TEC program.
Other Gold Summit Awards included the IALR newsletter, the 2019 Annual Report and a video series for the IALR Analytical Chemistry Lab.
The Public Relations Society of America Blue Ridge Chapter is a professional association serving Central and Southwest Virginia public relations practitioners.
